 Project Summary
Project Literacy Outreach, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization
launched in November 1986 as an innovative grassroots response to the
national problem of illiteracy. Their mission is to unlock the potential
of adults deficient in basic literacy skills.
Project Literacy needed a venue to reach a wider audience to generate funds
for literacy programs, to create awareness, and to recruit, train and
support volunteer tutors to teach reading, writing and spelling.
TNP donated and developed the site layout with contact and donation
forms plus various information and resources pertaining literacy.
This site is undergoing reconstruction to include interactive tutor evaluation
forms, literacy facts/games, and back-end web-based administration features.
