 Project Summary
MultiRATE is a full-service, multi-line insurance agency and technology concern that provides insurance and systems outsourcing for financial institutions nationwide. Its parent company, Bender Insurance Agency, has been in business since 1948, and enjoys a solid reputation with its carriers and customers.
TNP was selected to create a web presence with functionality to offer site visitors the ability to receive selective insurance quotes online. A key feature is the ability for visitors to receive quotes for Travelers Insurance.
TNP developed the site layout and navigation plus a robust Travelers Insurance quote form. Form processing was designed using HTML and extensive JavaScript for client side calculations and validations. Javascript was also used to customize tree controls for navigation. Active Server Pages technology is used to insert travel form data into a SQL Server database, to echo a summary response to the visitor, and to e-mail a notification with quote details to MultiRATE.
