Project Summary
JetBlue Airways is a rapidly expanding airline and one of the fastest growing, rising startups on the East coast.
Due to numerous FAA regulations the tracking of routine and major aircraft repairs, inspections, and
modifications require a tightly monitored process of checks and balances.
Engineering Orders provide the intricate workflow process to ensure timely resolution and
documentation of all maintenance requirements.
JetBlue's existing Engineering Orders process was managed by using Microsoft Word templates, Intranet
distribution and progress monitoring, and 'locked' in finalized PDF documents.
TNP provided a workflow analysis and solution to automate this internal, paper-driven
process. Database modeling and data tier implementation -- a working prototype was
architected and developed with ASP.NET and VB.NET so that internal staff developers
would be able to enhance and maintain the application in an environment they were
already developing with.
